What JustBack is

JustBack helps people share quick, anonymous feedback about outdoor experiences, and helps others see that feedback before deciding whether to go.

What we collect from visitors who submit a report

When you scan a QR code and submit a report, we record your answer — and an optional note, if you choose to add one — along with the time it was submitted. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details, and no account is needed to submit.

To prevent the same device submitting multiple times within a short period, we generate a temporary, scrambled code based on your device and connection. This code cannot be used to identify you personally, is never shown to operators, and is automatically discarded within 24 hours.

What we collect from operators

If you have a JustBack operator account, we store your email address and login details to give you access to your dashboard. This is used only to manage your account and is never shared with other operators or third parties.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share data with advertisers or third parties, we don't track you across other websites, and we don't use collected data for anything beyond running JustBack.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. Since visitor submissions are anonymous, we cannot link them back to an individual — but operator account holders can contact us at hello@justback.fyi for any request relating to their account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as JustBack develops. The latest version is always available on this page.
